Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ June 2017

"Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) took place on June 17, 2017. As usual it was held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. This was the last party before the summer break and I wish all the Worldbeat Crew a wonderful summer!

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ April 2017

"Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) took place on April 22, 2017. As usual it was held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. I enjoyed the evening with all the lovely guests.

The music on both floors was great! Of course, as usual I loved the reggae segments but also enjoyed the other music styles. Here is a sample from the club floor, ralph "von" richthoven:

"Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) was on again on March 18, 2017. As usual it was held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. It was lovely to see all the regulars and meeting some people for the first time. I was also very happy to meet a colleague of mine by coincidence!

The music on both floors was great! As you know, I am especially a fan of the reggae-segments... And - I'm hoping to see you all at the next party on April 22, 2017 at the same place and same time. :-)

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ February 2017

Contrary to the last event, the day was almost spring-like so the night of February 18, 2017 was not really cold and it was also the day of Bremen Samba Carnival. So a lot of regulars at "Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) and held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch had already celebrated throughout the day and did not attend the party. So, hopefully, we will see you all at the next party on March 18, 2017.

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ January 2017

January 14, 2017 was a freezing night but it didn't stop the people from attending "Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) and held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. To the contrary, I saw a lot of familiar faces and met many people who came to dance and enjoy the vibe for the first time.

One guy was dancing so vigorously and swinging his lady around, he almost knocked me over and I just about missed the concrete pillar with my lens. Phew! That was a bit exciting! Of course, a couple of other guys immediately rushed to my aid as the tone at this party is always very friendly. I was ok though, no harm done.

As you will notice as a regular from the flyer for the DJ-listing, a very cheerful King Ralph was standing in for DJ Viram. The Clubfloor-sound was provided by Ralph "von" Richthoven sampled here:

Heroe's Day • Mashujaa Day

October 22, 2016 a celebration of the Kenyan Mashujaa Day was to take place in Bremen. I met the celebrity DJ flying in from Dublin, Ireland with Bwana and Jimmy from Bremen at the Bremen Airport on the early evening to take a few pictures.

I arrived at the party quite late because of a prior engagement but when I entered, I saw that everyone was having a great time, enjoying DJ SPAQZ selection and dancing together. It was a wonderful, harmonious atmosphere. The proof, I think, is in the photos which you can find in the link below.

Worldbeat Latino Nuevo ♫ November 2015

Once again "Latino Nuevo" held the by World Beat Bremen e. V.-crew at Bürgerhaus Weserterassen, their home-venue, and I was around to take pictures of those who were willing to be in them. Following line-up on three different dancefloors was enjoyed by all who attended and danced to their heart's content to the different music styles:

World Beat Bremen ~ Caribbean Groove

"Caribbean Groove" was the motto of the World Beat Bremen e. V.-Party on April 11, 2015. As you know ~ if you know me ~ this is my thing! So I went along to Bürgerhaus Weserterassen with my camera to capture the event organised by World Beat Bremen e. V. and take in the beats including reggae, ska, calypso, reggaeton, soca, zouk and more played on three different dancefloors by varying DJs (details on the flyer) and accompanied by very moody light shows.

World Beat Bremen Latino Nuevo

For "Latino Nuevo" I was asked to take pictures by the by World Beat Bremen e. V.-crew. It took place on January 17, 2015 Bürgerhaus Weserterassen, the usual, beautiful location by the River Weser in Bremen.

The music of varying styles is played on three different dancefloors by varying DJs and the emphasis was on Latin music as the title suggests. I am not very familiar with this genre and all I can say is, the vibe was great, couples were really dancing with each other and some had great skills and made their dancing look as easy as one - two - three.... a bit like this:

World Beat Bremen ~ Caribbean Riddim

Thanks to Ralph "von" Richthoven I was able to take pictures at one of the World Beat Bremen e. V.-Parties on November 8, 2014. The motto was very close to my heart "Caribbean Riddim" including reggae, ska, calypso, reggaeton, soca, zouk and more.

The party took place at Bürgerhaus Weserterassen, a beautiful location by the River Weser and is organised by World Beat Bremen e. V., a non-profit organisation, who have been organising these parties - with different cultural themes - since 2003!

The music was played on three different dancefloors by varying DJs (details on the flyer) and accompanied by very moody light shows. If you are not familiar with this event-series, you should definitely check it out!
