Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ June 2017

"Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) took place on June 17, 2017. As usual it was held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. This was the last party before the summer break and I wish all the Worldbeat Crew a wonderful summer!

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ April 2017

"Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) took place on April 22, 2017. As usual it was held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. I enjoyed the evening with all the lovely guests.

The music on both floors was great! Of course, as usual I loved the reggae segments but also enjoyed the other music styles. Here is a sample from the club floor, ralph "von" richthoven:

"Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) was on again on March 18, 2017. As usual it was held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. It was lovely to see all the regulars and meeting some people for the first time. I was also very happy to meet a colleague of mine by coincidence!

The music on both floors was great! As you know, I am especially a fan of the reggae-segments... And - I'm hoping to see you all at the next party on April 22, 2017 at the same place and same time. :-)

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ February 2017

Contrary to the last event, the day was almost spring-like so the night of February 18, 2017 was not really cold and it was also the day of Bremen Samba Carnival. So a lot of regulars at "Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) and held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch had already celebrated throughout the day and did not attend the party. So, hopefully, we will see you all at the next party on March 18, 2017.

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ January 2017

January 14, 2017 was a freezing night but it didn't stop the people from attending "Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Cosmo (previously Funkaus Europa) and held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. To the contrary, I saw a lot of familiar faces and met many people who came to dance and enjoy the vibe for the first time.

One guy was dancing so vigorously and swinging his lady around, he almost knocked me over and I just about missed the concrete pillar with my lens. Phew! That was a bit exciting! Of course, a couple of other guys immediately rushed to my aid as the tone at this party is always very friendly. I was ok though, no harm done.

As you will notice as a regular from the flyer for the DJ-listing, a very cheerful King Ralph was standing in for DJ Viram. The Clubfloor-sound was provided by Ralph "von" Richthoven sampled here:

Gosh, it was pooring down on December 11, 2016! But I was not stopping home because the night promised to be really nice at "Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Funkaus Europa and held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. Luckily, I found a parking spot right outside the venue and when I arrived the party was already in full swing!

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ November 2016

November 12, 2016 - It was time to warm up from the almost freezing cold outside at "Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Funkaus Europa and held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch. When I arrived I was quite surprised to find a young man charging entrance fees sitting outside! I later learnt that he is a polar explorer (scientist)!

Please check out the flyer for the DJ-listing. The crowd was a mix of ages, nationalities and temperaments, a lot of whom didn't want to be photographed. I always do my best to not capture you if you don't want to be seen in the pictures.

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ October 2016

It's my birthday! October 1, 2016 - I'm invited to take pictures at "Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Funkaus Europa and held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch.

Apparently, there were several other parties on this long weekend when we celebrate the German Re-Unification on October 3, which explained why the venue was not full to the brim but it gave everyone ample space to dance to their hearts' content which the guests absolutely did.

Please check out the line-up in the flyer above for further info. The DJs were all in fine form and rocked both dancefloors. As usual at this event I noticed quite a few happy couples and I thought I would feature them today. I'm single but I am happy to see them enjoying each other and dancing together - expecially when Latin music is being played.

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ July 2016

In anticipation I made this GIF with photos from the last event.

July 2, 2016 - On this day the German football team entered the the quarter-finals of the European Championship in a game vs. Italy which was more riveting than any thriller I had ever seen. They had not won against Italy in 50 years in a larger tournament and played 1 : 1. They finally won 6 : 5 after 18 (!) penalties were shot. Right away I made my way into town to attend "Club Mondial" hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V., sponsored by Funkaus Europa and held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch.

This was not an easy task as the town centre was blocked off for public viewing and the other route I then decided to take was also blocked by the masses celebrating the advancement of the German team into the semi-finals. I feel, I arrived at the right time as most other guests were also just arriving.

Worldbeat Club Mondial ♪♫♪ May 2016

Since I had to miss the second party of the year, I was happy to attend "Club Mondial" on May 7, 2016 hosted by World Beat Bremen e. V. sponsored by Funkaus Europa and held at Mensa Academia courtesy of the Bremen University of Arts - Music Branch.

As usual the DJs (the line-up is listed in the flyer above) played a great music mix and had the crowd dancing on both floors. Here is a sample from the Deep House specialist Biljana:

To my dismay I have now learnt that Picasa will no longer be supported by Google since they took it over and, therefore, I will not be putting my photos in a slide show until Google have refined their "animation"-widget or I think of another solution. Anyhow, Flash and all Flash-wigdets will be abandoned soon - as far as I know.

So it's time to move on from there... For the moment and until the above mentioned situation is resolved, I will be providing a link to my photos on my Facebook Photo page below where you can see the photos even if you are not on Facebook:
