Once again, the lovely Anna and Robby John of Cranic Production invited me to photograph their event this time in cooperation with Badda Badda called "Caribbean Night" on the famous Reeperbahn in Hamburg on October 29!
On the main floor the following three sound systems were playing some boom sounds and created a great atmosphere with many forwards and a massive that was ready to move! They were:
Junior Carl & Mr Brown of Pow Pow |
Dial Tone Empire |
Juggla of Talawah Sound & Robby of Cranic Productions |
Pow Pow Movement (Cologne)
Talawah Sound (Hamburg/Jamaica)
Dial Tone Empire (London/Grenada)
On the 2nd floor Crucial Vibes Soundsystem (Hamburg) was dedicating the whole night to foundation vibes in a very relaxed setting though this room is wall to wall with the main hall. To be honest, I had trouble finding it at first because I could not believe that the sound would be so clear cut in such close proximity.

The giant lion head which was kindly provided by Club Docks was the center piece of the stage again and the lighting technician was orchestrating a brilliant light show throughout the night. If you know anything about photography, you will know that light is the most important factor and so I was happy to incorporate those effects in my photos.
Backstage there was food, cooked by the host himself, fruit and some home made rum drink for those who wanted to have a taste of something unique. Of course, I don't drink so I could not say if it was good or not. ;-) The food was delicious though!
As it was Halloween Night, you will see a couple of people with great make-up and in costumes.
